Having regard to the above application lodged on 24 March 2011,

Having deliberated, decides as follows:

FACTS AND PROCEDURE

The list of the applicants is set out in the appendix.

The applicants were represented by Mr V. Tarnovschi, a lawyer practising in Chişinău.

The applicants’ complaints under Article 6 of the Convention and Article 1 of Protocol No. 1 to the Convention were communicated to the Moldovan Government (“the Government”).

On 26 July 2024 the applicants informed the Registry that they wanted to withdraw the application to the Court since, after communication of the present application, the breach of their rights had been remedied by a final judgment in their favour.

THE LAW

In the light of the foregoing, the Court concludes that the applicants may be regarded as no longer wishing to pursue the application (Article 37 § 1 (a) of the Convention). Furthermore, in accordance with Article 37 § 1 in fine , the Court finds no special circumstances regarding respect for human rights as defined in the Convention and the Protocols thereto which require the continued examination of the application.

Accordingly, the case should be struck out of the list.

For these reasons, the Court, unanimously,

Decides to strike the application out of its list of cases.
