Having regard to the above applications lodged on the various dates indicated in the appended table,

Having deliberated, decides as follows:

FACTS AND PROCEDURE

The list of the applications and the details of the applicants is set out in the appendix.

The applicants were represented by Mr Stefano Pagliai, a lawyer practising in Florence.

The applicants’ complaints under Article 1 of Protocol No. 1 to the Convention concerning their inability to recover their assets originally held in Banca CIS after the latter’s liquidation were communicated to the San Marinese Government (“the Government”).

By letters of 29 January and 24 February 2025 the applicants listed in the appendix informed the Registry that they wanted to withdraw their applications to the Court following an out-of-court arrangement reached with the Government.

THE LAW

Having regard to the similar subject matter of the applications, the Court

finds it appropriate to examine them jointly in a single decision.

In the light of the foregoing, the Court concludes that the applicants may be regarded as no longer wishing to pursue their applications (Article 37 § 1 (a) of the Convention). Furthermore, in accordance with Article 37 § 1 in fine , the Court finds no special circumstances regarding respect for human rights as defined in the Convention and the Protocols thereto which require the continued examination of the applications.

Accordingly, the cases should be struck out of the list.

For these reasons, the Court, unanimously,

Decides to strike the applications out of its list of cases.
