A rtikel 1

Artikel 48 i konventionen skall förses med följande tillägg:

” 4. E uropeiska ekonom iska gem enskapen kan bli fördragsslutande part i konventionen genom att underteckna den. K onventionen träd e r i kraft i förhållande till gem enskapen sex m ånader efter dagen för dess u n d erteck n an d e .”

A rtikel 2

I artikel 52 i konventionen skall orden ” stat som har anslutit sig till konven tio n en ” utbytas m ot orden ” fördragsslutande part som inte är m edlem i rå d e t” .

A rtikel 3

Artikel 47, punkt 2, i konventionen skall förses med följande tillägg:

A rtikel 4

1. D etta tilläggsprotokoll är öppet för und ertecknande av de m edlem sstater i E u ro p arådet som har undertecknat konventionen, vilka kan tillträda det genom

a) undertecknande utan förbehåll för ratifikation, godtagande eller godkännande, eller

b) undertecknande med förbehåll för ratifikation, godtagande eller godkännande, följt av ratifikation, godtagande eller godkännande.

2. S tate r som har anslutit sig till k onventionen kan även ansluta sig till d etta tilläggsprotokoll.

3. R atifikations-, godtagande-, godkännande- eller anslutningsinstrum ent skall deponeras hos E uroparådets g en eralsek reterare.

Artikel 5

D etta tilläggsprotokoll träd e r i kraft så snart alla fördragsslutande p arte r i konventionen har tillträtt d etta tilläggsprotokoll i enlighet med artikel 4.

A rtikel 6

Från dagen för dess ikraftträdande skall d etta tilläggsprotokoll utgöra en integrerande del av konventionen. F rån den dagen får ingen s ta t1 bli fördragsslutande part i konventionen utan att sam tidigt bli fördragsslutande part i d etta tilläggsprotokoll.

c) deponering av ratifikations-, godtagande-, godkännande- eller anslutningsinstrum ent;

d,I dag för d etta tilläggsprotokolls ikraftträdande enligt dess artikel 5.

Till bekräftelse härav har undertecknade, därtill vederbörligen bem yndigade, u ndertecknat d etta protokoll.

U p p rättat i Strasbourg den 10 maj 1979 på engelska och franska, vilka båda te x ter äger lika vitsord, i ett enda exem plar, som skall förvaras i E uroparådets arkiv. E uroparådets generalsekreterare skall ö versända en bestyrkt avskrift därav till varje stat som u ndertecknat eller anslutit sig till protokollet.
