REGULATION No 5/66/EURATOM OF THE COUNCIL of 14 June 1966
amending the conditions governing remuneration and social security for establishment staff of the Joint Nuclear Research Centre employed in the Netherlands
THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN ATOMIC HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : ENERGY COMMUNITY,
Article 1 Having regard to Regulation No 31 (EEC), 11 (EAEC) 1 on the Staff Regulations of Officials and the Conditions of Employment of Other Servants of the Council Regulation No 11 /65 /Euratom shall be European Economic Community and the European amended as follows : Atomic Energy Community, and in particular the second paragraph of Article 4 and Articles 94 and 95 thereof; 1 . The following paragraph shall be inserted between the two paragraphs of Article 8 ; Having regard to Council Regulation No 11 /65/Euratom2 laying down the conditions governing remuneration and social security for 'Apportionment of the contributions between the establishment staff of the Joint Nuclear Research institution and the insured member of Centre employed in the Netherlands, as amended by establishment staff , shall be similar to that Council Regulation No 2/66/Euratom,3 and in applicable to the staff employed by the particular Article 13 thereof; Netherlands Nuclear .'Centre ( RCN ).'
Haying regard to the proposal from the Commission ; 2. The following Article 14a, shall be inserted after Article 14 : Whereas it is for the Council, acting on a proposal from the Commission, to lay down, in the light of local practice, the conditions governing remuneration 'Article 14a of establishment staff of the Joint Nuclear Research Centre at each place of employment and the A member of staff in employment of 1 January allowances, insurance, social security and all kinds of 1966 shall be classified at the new salary scale in other related benefits to which such persons are the same group as that to which he belonged entitled ; previously ; within that group he shall be classified at the step the amount of which is equal to the basic salary he would have had under the Whereas in view of increases in the salaries of the former scale of salaries, plus .5-85% , or where Staff of the Netherlands Nuclear Centre ( RCN) since such a step does not exist, at the next higher step. 1 January 1966, Regulation No 11/65/Euratom He shall keep in this step the seniority of service should be amended ; which he would have had in his former step of 1 January 1966.'

Article2¶
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 1966.
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
