REGULATION No 451 /67/EEC OF THE COMMISSION

determining the quantity of potatoes required for the manufacture of 100 kg of starch

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Having regard to Council Regulation No 371 /67/EEC2 of 25 July 1967 fixing production Article 1 refunds on starches and quellmehl, and in particular Article 5 thereof; The quantity of potatoes required for the manufacture of 100 kg of starch and the minimum Whereas Article 5 ( a) of Regulation No 371 /67/EEC free-at-factory price to be paid by the starch provided that, to administer the production refund manufacturer, the amount of the production refund for potato starch, the quantity of potatoes required for each 100 kg of potatoes and the minimupi price for the manufacture of 100 kg of starch must be to be received by the potato producer shall be fixed determined by Community provisions, on the basis of according to the starch content of the basic product the starch content of the tubers ; whereas such in accordance with the scale in the Annex. provisions should be adopted by reference to the experience of Member States regarding methods of Article 2 checking starch content and to the fact that starches actually marketed have a moisture content of approximately 20% ; whereas once the quantity of This Regulation shall enter into force on the day potatoes required for the manufacture of 100 kg of following its publication in the Official Journal of the starch has been fixed the amount of the production European Communities .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
