REGULATION (EEC) No 642/69 OF THE COMMISSION of 3 April 1969 amending Regulation (EEC) No 1025/68 fixing the coefficients for calculating the levy on beef and veal other than frozen

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COM­ resulting from the application of Regulation (EEC) MUNITIES, No 1025 /68 ; whereas it is, consequently, necessary to alter the coefficient used for calculating the levy on Having regard to the Treaty establishing the the products in question; European Economic Community; Whereas the Management Committee for Beef and Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No Veal has not issued an Opinion within the time limit 805/68 1 of 27 June 1968 on the common organisation set by its Chairman ; of the market in beef and veal and in particular Article 12 (5 ) thereof;

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 1025 /68 2 of 22 July 1968 fixing the coefficients for calculating the levy on beef and veal other than frozen fixed the Article 1 coefficients referred to Article 12 (2), (3 ) and (4) of Regulation (EEC) No 805 /68 ; The coefficient 3-26 shall be substituted for the Whereas those coefficients expressed the value ratio coefficient 3-40 appearing in the Annex to Regulation between veal or beef and, respectively, calves or adult ( EEC ) No 1025 /68 under sub-headings Nos 02.01 A II ( a) 1 ( cc) 22 and 02.06 C I ( a) (b). bovine animals;

Whereas, with regard to the products falling within Article 2 tariff sub-headings Nos 02.01 All (a) 1 (cc) 22 and 02.06 C I (a) ( b), the information at present available to the Commission shows that the value ratio This Regulation shall enter into force on Monday, referred to above is at a lower level than that 7 April 1969 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
