REGULATION (EEC) No 643 /69 OF THE COMMISSION of 3 April 1969

amending Regulation (EEC) No 1072/68 determining the bases for calculating the levy on certain kinds of frozen beef and veal

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COM­ Whereas the information at present available to the MUNITIES, Commission shows that the value ratio referred to above is at a lower level than that resulting from the application of Regulation (EEC) No 1072/68 ; Having regard to the Treaty establishing the whereas the coefficient used for calculating the levy European Economic Community ; for the product in question must therefore be altered ;

Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No Whereas the Management Committee for Beef and 805/68 1 of 27 June 1968 on the common organisation Veal has not delivered an Opinion within the time of the market in beef and veal and in particular limit set by its Chairman ; Article 13 (5 ) thereof ;

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Whereas by Commission Regulation (EEC) No 1072/682 of 25 July 1968 on determining the bases Article 1 for calculating the levy for certain kinds of frozen beef and veal, as amended by Regulation (EEC) No The coefficient 1-72 shall be substituted for the 1573 /683, the fixed coefficient referred to in Article coefficient 1-79 listed in the Annex to Regulation 13 (3 ) of Regulation (EEC ) No 805/68 applicable to frozen beef and veal in the form of ' other boned (EEC) No 1072/68 under No 02.01 A II (a) 2 ( dd) 22 ( bbb ). cuts ' was determined ; whereas that coefficient was determined on the basis of the value ratio between Article 2 the product listed in section (c) of the Annex to that Regulation under sub-heading No 02.01 A II ( a) 2 (aa) of the Common Customs Tariff and the product This Regulation shall enter into force on Monday, 7 in question ; April 1969 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
