REGULATION (EEC) No 1396/69 OF THE COUNCIL of 17 July 1969 amending Regulation No 120/67/EEC on the common organisation of the market on cereals

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, in this cereal being consumed regionally; whereas the option to derogate from the provisions of Article Having regard to the Treaty establishing the 4 (1 ) of Regulation No 120/67/EEC, provided for in European Economic Community, and in particular Article 32 (3) of that Regulation, should be extended Article 43 thereof; to the 1969/70 marketing year;

Having regard to the proposal from the Commission ; HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Having regard to the Opinion of the European Parliament; Article 1

Whereas in accordance with Article 32 (3 ) of Council In Article 32 (3) of Regulation No 120/67/EEC, the Regulation No 120/67/EEC1 of 13 June 1967 on the words 'during the 1967/68, 1968 /69 and 1969/70 common organisation of the market in cereals, as last marketing years' shall be substituted for the words amended by Regulation (EEC) No 83 1/69,2 it may be 'during the 1967/68 and 1968/69 marketing years'. decided at the request of a Member State that derived intervention prices for durum wheat, valid for certain Article 2 marketing centres, shall, during the 1967/68 and 1968/69 marketing years, be equal to the lowest intervention price fixed for that Member State; This Regulation shall enter into force on the third whereas the situation on the durum wheat market, day following its publication in the Official Journal where there is still a large shortage, results in general of the European Communities.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
