REGULATION (EEC) No 1617/69 OF THE COMMISSION of 31 July 1969

on declaration forms for Community transit

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COM­ 3 . The size of the forms shall be 210 x 297 mm, MUNITIES, the line spacing for typing being 4-24 mm ( 1/6 of an inch); the layout of the forms shall be strictly observed. Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community;

Article 2 Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 542/691 of 18 March 1969 on Community transit, 1 . The forms for Community transit declarations and in particular Article 60 thereof; shall be produced in sets so arranged that the several copies may be obtained by a single typing or writing Whereas, in order to ensure uniformity of the forms operation . to be used for the Community transit declaration and to facilitate their completion by typing or mechanical 2 . Each set of forms shall include at least the means, it appears necessary to lay down the following copies, in numerical order : conditions which they must satisfy; whereas to that end it is appropriate to have specimen forms to which the said forms must correspond; (a) Copy for office of departure, bearing the number 1 ;

Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation (b) Copy for office of destination, bearing the are in accordance with the Opinion of the Committee number 2 ; on Community Transit ; (c) Copy to be returned to office of departure, bearing the number 3 ; HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION: (d) Copy for statistical purposes, bearing the number 4 . Article 1

Where, in accordance with Articles 15 and 39 of Article 5 Regulation (EEC) No 542/69, the export or re-export declaration and the Community transit declaration A new heading '32' shall be added to forms T2 and are combined in a single form, the set of forms T2A, its content shall be determined later.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
