REGULATION (EEC) No 392/70 OF THE COMMISSION of 2 March 1970 on the application of the definition of 'carcase of a domestic bovine animal'

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COM­ Commission Regulation (EEC) No 1072/686 of 25 MUNITIES, July 1968 determining the bases for calculating the levy on certain kinds of frozen beef and veal, as last Having regard to the Treaty establishing the amended by Regulation (EEC) No 206/70; European Economic Community ; Whereas the measures provided in this Regulation are Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No in accordance with the Opinion of the Management 805/681 of 27 June 1968 on the common organisation Committee for Beef and Veal ; of the market in beef and veal, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 2463/69,2 and in particular Articles 12 (5 ) and 13 (5 ) thereof; HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Whereas Regulation (EEC) No 206/703 amended, as from 16 February 1970, the definition of 'carcase of a Article 1 domestic bovine animal' added by Regulation (EEC) No 1972/69,4 with effect from 20 October 1969 , to The provisions of Article la (a) of Regulation (EEC) Commission Regulation (EEC) No 1025/685 of 22 No 1025/68 and of Article 6b of Regulation (EEC) July 1968 fixing the coefficients for calculating the No 1072/68 shall apply to all imports of carcases of levy on beef and veal other than frozen ; domestic bovine animals effected from 20 October , 1969 . Whereas, for the same reasons as those giving rise to that amendment, it seems advisable to apply the amended definition of ' carcase of a domestic bovine Article 2 animal' to all imports effected from 20 October 1969 ; Whereas the same reasons apply with regard to the This Regulation shall enter into force on the third date of application of the definition of 'carcase of a day following its publication in the Official journal domestic bovine animal' given in Article 6b of of the European Communities.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
