REGULATION (EEC) No 458/70 OF THE COMMISSION of 11 March 1970

amending the Annex to Regulation No 225/67/EEC as regards the coefficients of equivalence for sunflower seed

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COM­ Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation MUNITIES, are in accordance with the Opinion of the Management Committee for Oils and Fats; Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community; HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION :

Having regard to Council Regulation No Article 1 136/66/EEC1 of 22 September 1966 on the establishment of a common organisation of the Part B of the Annex to Regulation No 225/67/EEC market in oils and fats, as last amended by shall be amended as follows : Regulation (EEC) No 2146/682; Coefficient Having regard to Council Regulation No of equivalence 115/67/EEC3 of 6 June 1967 laying down criteria for Amount Amount determining world market prices for oil seeds and to be to be deducted added fixing the frontier crossing point, and in particular Article 7 thereof; (u. a. / 100 kg) (u. a. /100 kg) B. Sunflower seed Seed from European countries Whereas Article 3 of Commission Regulation No and territories 0-14 225/67/EEC4 of 28 June 1967 on detailed rules for Seed from other sources : determining the world market price for oil seeds, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1365/695, for each percentage point of oil provides that where the offers and quotations used content : relate to a quality other than the standard quality for — above that of the standard quality 0-16 which the target price was fixed they must be —■ below that of the standard adjusted on the basis of the coefficients of quality 0-16 equivalence shown in the Annex ; for each percentage point of moisture : Whereas it appears that the quality of sunflower seed — above that of the standard delivered by certain exporting countries differs in quality 0-08 certain respects from the quality specified in the — below that of the standard contracts of sale and that these contracts make no quality 0-08 provision for price increases or reductions in respect for each percentage point of of this difference; whereas the coefficients shown in impurities : the Annex to Regulation No 225/67/EEC should — above that of the standard therefore be amended to allow for the net value of 0-04 quality that seed being higher or lower than standard quality — below that of the standard seed ; quality 0-04
