REGULATION (EEC) No 1926/70 OF THE COMMISSION of 24 September 1970 suspending the standing invitation to tender for the export of raw cane sugar provided for in Regulation (EEC) No 1735/70

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COM­ suspend the standing invitation to tender until a date MUNITIES, to be determined at a later stage;

Having regard to the Treaty establishing the Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation European Economic Community ; are in accordance with the Opinion of the Management Committee for Sugar; Having regard to Council Regulation No 1009 / 67/EEC1 of 18 December 1967 on the common HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : organisation of the market in sugar, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1253 /70,2 and in particular Articles 11 (2), 17 (4) and 38 thereof; Article 1

Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 1735/703 The standing invitation to tender provided for in of 26 August 1970 on a standing invitation to . tender Regulation (EEC) No 1735/70 is hereby suspended. to determine the export refund on raw cane sugar produced during the 1969/70 marketing year required Member States to issue partial invitations to tender Article 2 for the export of raw cane sugar; This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its Whereas the situation with regard to the disposal of publication in the Official Journal of the European surpluses of raw cane sugar makes it advisable to Communities .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
