REGULATION (EURATOM) No 2094/70 OF THE COUNCIL of 20 October 1970 amending the conditions governing remuneration and social security for establishment staff of the Joint Nuclear Research Centre employed in the Federal Republic of Germany

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES , and the Manteltarifvertrag fur Arbeiter des Bundes Regulation No 9/65/Euratom should be amended ; Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC, Euratom, ECSC ) No 259/68 1 of 29 February 1968 on the Staff "Whereas, in accordance with the Bundes-Angestell­ Regulations of Officials of the European tentarifvertrag, staff employed on research work in Communities and the Conditions of Employment of nuclear research installations may receive special Other Servants of the Communities, and in particular allowances ; the second paragraph of Article 4 and Articles 94 and 95 of those Conditions of Employment ; HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Article 1 Having regard to Council Regulation No 9/65 /Euratom2 of 16. March 1965 laying down Regulation No 9/65 /Euratom shall be amended as conditions governing remuneration and social follows : security for staff of the Joint Nuclear Research Centre employed in the Federal Republic of 1 . In Article 4, the following subparagraph shall be inserted after the second subparagraph : 'The Commission may grant to establishment staff who prepare, carry out or take part in research work an allowance which may be terminated at any time and which shall not exceed four times the difference between two ranks of seniority in the group to which the person concerned belongs. The allowance shall not . be paid to more than 45% of the staff concerned .'

Article2¶

The provisions of this Regulation shall apply from 1 January 1970.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
