REGULATION (EEC) No 2662/70 OF THE COMMISSION of 29 December 1970

extending the time limit set in the second subparagraph of Article 15 (1 ) of Regulation (EEC) No 542/69 on Community transit

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COM­ Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation MUNITIES, - are in accordance with the Opinion of the Committee on Community Transit; Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community ;

Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : 542/691 of 18 March 1969 on Community transit, and in particular Article 58 ( 1 ) (d) thereof;

Article 1 Whereas, because of the great number of forms hitherto used in the Member States for export and The time limit set in the second subparagraph of re-export declarations, it has not been possible for Arti'cle 15 ( 1 ) of Regulation (EEC) No 542/69 shall certain Member States to align all export and be extended up tq and including 30 June 1971 . re-export declaration forms with forms T1 or T2 ;

Whereas it is therefore appropriate that in the Article 2 Member States where this alignment has not yet been completed it should be possible to continue to use the national export or re-export forms for a further This Regulation shall enter into force on 31 six months ; December 1970 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
