REGULATION (EEC) No 2683 /70 OF THE COMMISSION

of 29 December 1970 laying down special procedures for the advance fixing of export refunds on milk and milk products

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COM­ force, Articles 1 , 4 and 6, should be repealed for the MUNITIES, sake of clarity and a new Regulation promulgated;

Having regard to the Treaty establishing the Euro­ pean Economic Community ; Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the Opinion of the Manage­ Having regard to Council Regulation ( EEC) No ment Committee for Milk and Milk Products . 804/68 1 of 27 June 1968 on the common organisation of the market in milk and milk products, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1253 /70,2 and in particular Article 17 (4) thereof; HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Whereas the Annex to Commission Regulation (EEC ) No 1100/ 683 of 26 July 1968 laying down detailed rules of application for the advance fixing of export Article 1 refunds on milk and milk products , as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1522/70,4 lists the products The refund shall, on application , be fixed in' advance for which export refunds may not be fixed in advance for products covered by Article 1 of Regulation when exported to certain destinations ; whereas ( EEC) No 804/ 68 , except for those set out in the Regulation (EEC) No 2307/705 amending Council Annex to this Regulation when exported to the Regulation (EEC) No 823 / 68® of 28 June 1968 destinations indicated . determining the groups of products and the special provisions for calculating levies on milk and milk products amends the nomenclature of the Common Customs Tariff with effect from 1 January 1971 ; Article 2 whereas the Annex to Regulation (EEC ) No 1100/ 68 must therefore be amended ; The adjustments to be made to the refunds fixed in advance, pursuant to the provisions of the third Whereas Commission Regulation ( EEC) No 2637/707 subparagraph of Article 5 (3 ) of Regulation (EEC) of 23 December 1970 on special detailed rules for No 876/68 , shall be made in accordance with a list to the application of the system of import and export be drawn up . licences and advance fixing certificates for agricultural products repeals, with effect from 1 January 1971, Articles 2, 3 and 5 of Regulation (EEC ) No 1100/68 ; whereas the articles of that Regulation remaining in Article 3

Regulation (EEC) No 1100/68 is hereby repealed.
