REGULATION (EEC) No 1038/71 OF THE COMMISSION of 24 May 1971 amending Commission Regulation (EEC) No 2198/69 of 30 October 1969 concerning the periods of grace referred to in Article 10 (2) and (3) of Council Regulation No 803/68 on the valuation of goods for customs purposes
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COM Whereas the amendments to the Common Customs MUNITIES, Tariff of the European Communities made by Council Regulation (EEC) No 1 /71 of 17 December Having regard to the Treaty establishing the 19703 call for corresponding amendments in respect European Economic Community; of certain items in the above-mentioned table; Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No Whereas the provisions of this Regulation are in 803 /68 1 of 27 June 1968 on the valuation of goods accordance with the Opinion of the Customs for customs purposes, and in particular Article 10 (4) Valuation Committee ; thereof; Having regard to Commission Regulation (EEC) No HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : 2198 /692 concerning the periods of grace referred to in Article 10 (2) and (3 ) of Council Regulation (EEC) No 803/68 on the valuation of goods for customs Article 1 purposes ; The' Annex to this Regulation shall be substituted for Whereas it has been possible to establish that certain the table annexed to Commission Regulation (EEC) goods not included in the table annexed to No 2198 /69 of 30 October 1969 on the periods of Commission Regulation ( EEC) No 2198 /69 are grace referred to in Article 10 (2 ) and (3 ) of Council usually sold with delivery periods exceeding six and Regulation (EEC ) No 803 /68 . twelve months respectively ; whereas it is appropriate to provide in respect of those goods for a period of grace of twelve months or more as the case may be ; Article 2 whereas, however, pursuant to Article 10 (3 ) of the above-mentioned Council Regulation that period of grace may not exceed twenty-four months ; This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 July 1971 .
