REGULATION (EEC) No 1315 /71 OF THE COUNCIL of 21 June 1971 on imports into the Community of fishery products originating in Turkey

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, and in particular Article 43 thereof; Having regard to the proposal from the Commission ; Haying regard to the Opinion of the European Parliament1 ; Whereas by its Decision No 1 /71 , the EEC-Turkey Council of Association, in application of Article 6 of Protocol No 1 annexed to the Ankara Agreement, fixed the rules which must be applied to imports into the Community of certain fishery products originating in Turkey, as from 1 July 1971 ; Whereas the implementation of that Decision necessitates the adoption by the Com­ munity of measures which derogate from the Community regulations in force ;

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION :

Article 1 The products listed hereunder, originating in Turkey, shall, upon importation into the Community, be subject to customs duties equal to 50% of the rates in the Common Customs Tariff :

Article4

This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 July 1971 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
