REGULATION (EEC) No 1555 /71 OF THE COUNCIL of 19 July 1971 amending Regulation No 362/67/EEC as regards the yield from the processing of paddy rice into milled rice

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, Whereas, to take account of improved yields from the processing of paddy rice into milled rice in the Having regard to the Treaty establishing the Community, the yield required for the standard European Economic Community ; quality at intervention should be increased;

Having regard to Council Regulation No 359/67/EEC1 on the common organisation of the HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : market in rice, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1553 /71 ,2 and in particular Article 4 (5 ) thereof; Article 1

Having regard to the proposal from the Commission ; The figure '63% ' shall be substituted for '62% ' in Article 2 (c) of Regulation No 362/67/EEC . Whereas the intervention price for paddy rice must be fixed for a specified standard quality complying with certain criteria; whereas one of these criteria is . Article 2 the yield in milled rice, fixed at 62% by weight by Council Regulation No 362/67/EEC,3 as last This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 September amended by Regulation No 867/67/EEC4; 1971 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
