REGULATION (EEC) No 1784/71 OF THE COMMISSION

of 13 August 1971 altering the amount of aid provided for in Regulation (EEC) No 1437/70 on storage contracts for table wine

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COM­ HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : MUNITIES, Article 1 Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community; The following text shall be substituted for the text of Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No Article 6 (3 ) of Regulation No 1437/70 : 816/701 of 28 April 1970 laying down additional provisions for the common organisation of the '3 . The amount of aid shall be fixed as market in wine, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) follows : No 2612/70,2 and in particular Article 6 (4) thereof; (a) for table wines of the types R I, R II, R III and A I and for table wines which stand in Whereas Article 6 (3 ) of Commission Regulation close economic relationship with those types (EEC) No 1437/703 of 20 July 1970 on storage of table wine : at 0-006 units of account. contracts for table wine, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 617/71,4 fixed the amount of (b) for table wines of the types A II and A III private storage aid for the different types of table and for table wines which stand in close wine for the period until 30 November 1970; economic relationship with those types of table wine : at 0-008 units of account.' Whereas those amounts are no longer sufficient to cover technical storage costs and interest; whereas they should therefore be adjusted to bring them into Article 2 line with present costs ;

Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation This Regulation shall enter into force on the third are in accordance with the Opinion of the day following its publication in the Official Journal Management Committee for Wine; of the European Communities.

. This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
