REGULATION (EEC) No 2830/71 OF THE COUNCIL of 24 December 1971 amending Regulation (EEC) No 1599/71 laying down additional conditions with which imported wines for direct human consumption have to comply

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES , complicated nature of problems which have arisen on this subject it does not appear possible to keep to this date and therefore a later date should be fixed : Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community ;

Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : 816/701 of 28 April 1970 laying down additional provisions for the common organisation of the Article 1 market in wine, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 2504/71 ,2 and in particular Article 28 ( 1 ) (b) thereof; The date 1 April 1972 shall be substituted for the date 1 January 1972 in Article 4 of Regulation (EEC) No 1599/71 . Having regard to the proposal from the Commission ;

Whereas Council Regulation (EEC) No 1599/713 of Article 2 20 July 1971 laid down additional conditions with which imported wines for direct human consumption have to comply; whereas Article 4 of that Regulation This Regulation shall enter into force on the day provides that such additional Conditions shall apply following its publication in the Official Journal of the from 1 January 1972; whereas in view of the European Communities .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
