COUNCIL REGULATION (EEC) No 228/72 of 31 January 1972

concerning imports into the Community of certain fishery products originating in Morocco

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:

Article 1 Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, and in particular Article 43 thereof, The following products, originating in Morocco, shall be imported into the Community free of customs duty : Having regard to the proposal from the Commission,

Member States shall retain the import system that Regulation, prior to the entry into force of applying on 31 January 1972 to the following Council Regulation (EEC) No 2142/70 of 20 October products, originating in Morocco : 1970 on the common organization of the market in fishery products (3); whereas pending the CCT implementation of the Community system for import heading No Description of these products, a transitional system should be defined in order to avoid any disturbances in trade in the products in question between the 16.04 Prepared or preserved fish, including Community and Morocco ; caviar and caviar substitutes : D. Article 3 It sha'll apply until the implementation of a Com­ munity system for imports into the Community This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 February of the products referred to in this Regulation and 1972 . until 31 December 1972 at the latest .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
