REGULATION (EEC) No 1374/72 OF THE COUNCIL

of 30 June 1972

extending the period of validity of Regulation (EEC) No 1428/71 laying down conditions for applying protective measures for products processed from fruit and vegetables

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, 1972 ; whereas the period of validity of that Regulation should be extended by one year ; Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community ; HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No Article 1 1427/71 1 of 2 July 1971 introducing protective measures for products processed from fruit and The date 30 June 1973 shall be substituted for the vegetables, and in particular Article 1 ( 1 ) thereof; date 30 June 1972 in the second subparagraph of Article 5 of Regulation (EEC) No 1428/71 . Having regard to the proposal from the Commission ; Article 2 Whereas Council Regulation (EEC) No 1428 /71 2 laid down conditions for applying protective measures This Regulation shall enter into force on the day for products processed from fruit and vegetables ; following its publication in the Official Journal of the whereas that Regulation is applicable until 30 June European Communities .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States . 1
