REGULATION (EEC) No 1517/72 OF THE COMMISSION of 14 July 1972

amending the Annex to Regulation No 225/67/EEC on coefficients of equivalence for colza and rape seed

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COM­ Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation MUNITIES, are in accordance with the Opinion of the Management Committee for Oils and Fats ; Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community ;

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Having regard to Council Regulation No 136/66/EEC1 of 22 . September 1966 on the establishment of a common organization of the Article 1 market in oils and fats, as last amended by Regulation (EEC ) No 2727/71 2 ;

Part A of the Annex to Regulation No 225/67/EEC Having regard to Council Regulation No shall be amended as follows : 115 /67/EEC3 of 6 June 1967 laying down criteria for determining world market prices for oil seeds and fixing the frontier crossing point, and in particular Coefficient of equivalence Article 7 thereof; Amount to be Amount to be deducted from added to the Whereas Article 3 of Commission Regulation No the price price (u.a . per 100 kg) (u.a. per 100 kg) 225/67/EEC4 of 28 June 1967 on detailed rules for determining the world market price for oil seeds, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1478 /71 ,5 A. Colza and rape seed : provides that where the offers and quotations used Seed from Canada apply to a quality other than the standard quality for which the target price was fixed, they shall be — on the basis of an oil content of 40% 0-16 adjusted on the basis of the coefficients of — other 0-02 equivalence shown in the Annex; Seed from Sweden 0-02 Whereas the qualities of colza and rape seed Seed from Poland 0-16 delivered from Canada show certain differences from Seed from Denmark 0-14 the quality used for the determination of the coefficient of equivalence operative for seeds Seed from other imported from that country ; whereas coefficients European territories 0-19 should be fixed which take the different qualities of this seed into account;

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
