REGULATION (EEC) No 1624/72 OF THE COMMISSION of 28 July 1972 amending Annex I to Regulation (EEC) No 1109/71 on detailed rules for determining the entry price for certain fishery products

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES,

Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community ;

Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 2142/701 of 20 October 1970, on the common organization of the market in fishery products, as amended by Regulation (EEC) No 2727/71 ,2 and in particular Article 18 (6) thereof;

"Whereas Regulation (EEC) No 1623/723 of 28 July 1972 fixed the withdrawal prices applicable to the products listed under A and C of Annex I to Regulation (EEC) No 2142/70 for the remainder of 1972; whereas, on that occasion," certain presentations were regrouped on the basis of experience gained as regards the marketing of the products in question ; whereas the list of presentations was also supplemented ;

Whereas these changes call for a corresponding adaptation of the adjustments provided for in connection with the determination of entry prices for the products in question although the conversion factors adopted for that purpose should remain unchanged ; whereas it is therefore necessary to amend Annex I to Commission Regulation (EEC) No 1109/71 of 28 May 19714 on detailed rules for determining the entry price for certain fishery products as amended by Regulation (EEC) No 2808/715 ;

"Whereas, to take account of the existing differences between the various reference prices for herrings with different commercial specifications, the quality conversion factors for herrings should be altered;

Whereas, the measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the Opinion of the Management Committee for Fishery Products;

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION :

The following table shall be substituted for the table set out in Annex I to Regulation (EEC) No 1109/71 with effect from 1 August 1972 :
