REGULATION (EEC) No 2315 /72 OF THE COMMISSION of 31 October 1972 amending Regulation (EEC) No 1770/72 on detailed rules of application relating to the additional conditions with which imported wines for direct human consumption have to comply

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COM­ imported wines for direct human consumption MUNITIES , have to comply; Having regard to the Treaty establishing the Whereas the measures provided for in this European Economic Community; Regulation are in accordance with the Opinion of the Management Committee for Wine; Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 816/701 of 28 April 1970 laying down additional provisions for the common organisa­ tion of the- market in wine, as last amended by HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Regulation (EEC) No 1651 /71 , 2 and in particular Article 28 (5) and Article 35 thereof; Article 1 Whereas , by Regulation (EEC) No 2292/723 of 31 October 1972, the Council deferred the date for implementing Council Regulation (EEC) The date 1 April 1973 shall be substituted for the date 1 November 1972 appearing in Article 1 No 1599/714 of 20 July 1971 laying down additional conditions with which imported of Regulation (EEC) No 1770/72. wines for direct human consumption have to comply, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) Article 2 No 1373/725; whereas it has therefore proved necessary to defer the date for implementing Commission Regulation (EEC) No 1770/726 of This Regulation shall enter into force on the 3 August 1972 on detailed rules of application third day following its publication in the relating to the additional conditions with which Official Journal of the European Communities .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States . Done at Brussels , 31 October 1972. For the Commission The President
