amending Regulation (EEC) No 979/72 in respect of the compensatory amounts to be applied, consequent upon changes in the monetary situation, to certain agricultural products and to certain goods obtained therefrom
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN a difference of more than one point from the COMMUNITIES, percentage taken as a basis for the preceding determination of the compensatory amounts ; whereas the minimal effect of compensatory amounts calculated on the basis of the new rates to be taken Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic 'Community, into account means that compensatory amounts can be eliminated for France ;
Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC ) No Whereas for certain cereals, for sugar and for 974/71 of 12 May 1971 on certain measures of powdered whey, the cif prices or the market prices conjunctival policy to be taken in agriculture as the case may be, hitherto used as a basis for following the temporary widening of the margins of fluctuation for the currencies of certain Member calculation, have changed appreciably ; whereas it States (*), and in particular Articles 3 and 6 thereof, would also be opportune to take account of the increase in the intervention price for sugar; whereas the compensatory amounts should therefore be Whereas the compensatory .amounts provided for recalculated for these agricultural products and for in Regulation (EEC) No 974/71 were fixed by goods obtained therefrom if the prices in question •Regulation (EEC) No 979/72 (2), as last amended were used in the calculation ; by Regulation (EEC) No 2423/72 (3);
Whereas Article 3 of Regulation (EEC) No 974/71 Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation requires compensatory amounts to be altered if the concerning the recalculation of compensatory difference referred to in Article 2(1 ) of that amounts are in accordance with the opinions of the Regulation changes by at least one point from the Management Committees for 'Cereals, for percentage taken as a basis for the preceding Poultrymeat and Eggs, for Sugar and for Milk and determination ; whereas the alteration of the Milk Products, compensatory amounts must be in line with the change in the difference ;
HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 1013/71 of 17 May 1971 (4), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 2342/72 (5), laid down detailed rules of Article 1 application for Regulation (EEC) No 974/71 ; whereas the spot market rates for the French franc The Annexes to this Regulation shall be substituted recorded pursuant to Regulation (EEC) No 1013/71 for the Annexes to Regulation (EEC) No 979/72. over the period 14 to 20 December 1972 result in

(1 ) For products denatured in accordance with Article 2 of Regulation (EEC) No 990/72, this amount shall be reduced to :

2) The basic amount per 100 kg of product falling within this subheading shall be equal to the sum of the following:
