REGULATION (EEC) No 141 /73 OF THE COMMISSION of 19 January 1973 fixing, for the 1972/73 marketing year, the minimum purchase price for oranges delivered to industry and the amount of financial compensation for those oranges after processing
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas the measures provided by the present Regu COMMUNITIES , lation are in conformity with the Advice of the Management Committee for Fruit and Vegetables ; Having regard to the Treaty establishing the Euro pean Economic Community, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Having regard to Council Regulation ( EEC ) No 2601 / 69 (*) of 18 December 1969 laying down special Article 1 measures to encourage the processing of certain varieties of oranges , and in particular Articles 2 (3 ) 1 . For the 1972/ 1973 marketing year, the mini and 3 (2 ) thereof, mum price referred to in Article 2 (2) of Regulation (EEC ) No 2601/69 is fixed as follows : Whereas Article 2 of Regulation (EEC) No 2601 / 69 provides that the minimum price which , under the — 5.5 units of account per 100 kg net for products contracts, must be paid by the processors to the in Class I, producers is calculated on the basis of the purchase — 4.4 units of account per 100 kg net for products price plus 10% of the basis price of the varieties in Class II, which, by reason of their commercial characteristics, — 3.8 units of account per 100 kg net for products are usually sent for processing ; whereas since the in Class III or mixed . products in question are oranges of the Biondo 2.
