REGULATION (EEC) No 368/73 OF THE COMMISSION of 31 January 1973
derogating from Regulation (EEC) No 1403/69 as regards the standard method of denaturing common wheat in Ireland and the United Kingdom
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation COMMUNITIES , are in accordance with the Opinion of the Manage ment Committee for Cereals ; Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community ; HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Having regard to Council Regulation No 120/67/ EEC (x) of 13 June 1967 on the common organization Article 1 of the market in cereals , as last amended by the Act ( 2) annexed to the Treaty ( 3) on the Accession of new By way of derogation from Article 1 of Regulation Member States to the European Economic Community (EEC) No 1403/69 , the denaturing process for common and the European' Atomic Energy Community, signed wheat, set out in the Annex to this Regulation may, at Brussels on 22 January 1972, and in particular until 30 April 1973 , be used in Ireland and the United Article 7 (5) thereof, Kingdom in place of the standard method.

ANNEX
Denaturing process for common wheat applicable in Ireland and the United Kingdom
The common wheat must be treated with one of the colouring matters listed below in such manner that the said common wheat shall contain a quantity of colouring matter at least equal to that shown in column 4 and evenly distributed, so that at least 5 % of the grains shall be coloured and distributed throughout the whole quantity.
