amending Regulation (EEC) No 1108/68 as regards the packaging of skimmed-milk powder offered to intervention agencies

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN employed for skimmed-milk powder as referred COMMUNITIES , to in Article 1 :

(a) tendered in the United Kingdom : Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European­ Economic Community ; (aa) 3 'kraft' paper bags, of a strength repre­ senting at least 80 grammes per sq m, Having regard to the Treaty (*) concerning the 1 'poly-coated' 'kraft' paper bag, of a Accession of new Member States to the European strength representing at least 75 grammes Economic Community and the European Atomic per sq m , Energy Community, signed at Brussels on 22 January 1 'wax-coated' 'kraft' paper bag, of a 1972, and in particular Article 63 of the Act (2) annexed strength representing at least 80 grammes thereto ; per sq m , Whereas Annex I to Commission Regulation (EEC) (bb) the bag is capped by a crepe paper tape No 1108/68 (3) of 27 July 1968 , on detailed rules and sealed by sewing with a double of application for public storage of skimmed­ cotton stitch and a jute cord ; milk powder, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 2267/72 (4), lays down the criteria to which ( b) tendered in Ireland : packaging of skimmed milk offered to intervention 4 'kraft' paper bags of a strength representing agencies must conform ; whereas the packings in use at least 80 grammes per sq m , in the new Member States differ somewhat from these 1 'poly-coated' 'kraft' paper bag of a strength prescriptions ; whereas the enterprises concerned representing at least 75 grammes per sq m, should be enabled to adapt themselves to Community 1 polyethylene inner bag at least 0-06 mm thick, standards ; welded or double-bound ; Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation (c) tendered in Denmark : are in accordance with the Opinion of the Management 2 'kraft' paper bags, of a strength representing Committee for Milk and Milk Products ; at least 95 grammes per sq m, 1 'poly-coated' 'kraft' paper bag, of a strength representing at least 70 grammes per sq m, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : 1 polyethylene inner bag at least 0 06 mm thick, welded or double-bound.'
