REGULATION (EEC) No 466/73 OF THE COMMISSION of 31 January 1973 fixing the amounts applicable as compensatory amounts for pigmeat in February 1973

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN arise, the amounts applicable as compensatory COMMUNITIES , amounts are fixed in accordance with Article 3 of Regulation (EEC) No 234/73 ; Having regard to the Treaty (x) concerning the Ac­ cession of new Member States to the European Econ­ HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : omic Community and to the European Atomic Energy Community, signed at Brussels on 22 January 1972 ; Article 1 Having regard to TCouncil Regulation (EEC) No The amounts referred to in Article 3 of Regulation 234/73 (2) of 31 January 1973 laying down general (EEC) No 234/73 and applicable as compensatory rules for a system of compensatory amounts for pig­ amounts for pigmeat during February 1973 shall be as meat, and in particular Article 8 (3 ) thereof ; shown in the Annex.

Whereas compensatory amounts for pigmeat products Article 2 were laid down in Council Regulation No 234/73 and Commission Regulation No 467/73 (3) of 31 January This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of 1973 ; whereas, however, if the situation referred to in its publication in the Official Journal of the European Communities . Article 7 of Council Regulation (EEC) No 229/73 (4) of 31 January 1973 laying down general rules for a system of compensatory amounts for cereals should It shall apply from 1 February 1973 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .

(a) Entry under this subheading is subject to conditions to be determined by the competent authorities. ' ( b) The compensatory amounts applicable to sausages imported in containers also containing a preservative liquid is levied on the net weight, after deducting the weight of the liquid. Note : For products falling within subheadings 02.01 B II c), 15.01 A I, 16.01 A and 16.02 A II of the Common Customs Tariff for which the rate of duty has been bound against increase within the framework of GATT, compensatory amounts are limited to the amount resulting from this binding.
