REGULATION (EEC) No 534/73 OF THE COMMISSION of 15 February 1973 amending the amounts applicable as compensatory amounts for cereals and rice

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas compensatory amounts for cereals and rice COMMUNITIES, have been fixed pursuant to Regulation (EEC ) No 441 /73 (4 ), as last amended by Regulation ( EEC ) No 521 /73 ( 5 ) ; Having regard to the Treaty establishing the Euro­ pean Economic Community ; Whereas the application of the rules referred to in Regulation (EEC) No 441 /73 requires that the amounts at present in force should be amended as Having regard to the Treaty (*) concerning the shown in the Annex to this Regulation ; Accession of new Member States to the European Economic Community and the European Atomic Energy Community, signed at Brussels 22 January HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : 1972 ; Article 1 Having regard to Council Regulation ( EEC) No 229/ 73 (2) of 31 January 1973 laying down general rules The amounts applicable as compensatory amounts for a system of compensatory amounts for cereals shown in the Annexes to amended Regulation and fixing these amounts for certain products, and (EEC ) No 441 /73 are amended as shown in the in particular Article 7 thereof ; Annex to this Regulation .

Article 2 Having regard to Council Regulation ( EEC ) No 243 / 73 (3) of 31 January 1973 laying down general rules This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of for a system of compensatory amounts for rice and its publication in the Official Journal of the Euro­ fixing these amounts for certain products, and in pean Communities. It shall apply from 16 February particular Article 5 thereof : 1973 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
