REGULATION (EEC) No 569/73 OF THE COUNCIL of 26 February 1973 temporarily suspending customs duties on certain fruits and vegetables originating in the Associated African and Malagasy States and in the overseas countries and territories

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN 07.01 Vegetables, fresh or chilled : COMMUNITIES, F. Leguminous vegetables, shelled or un Having regard to the Treaty establishing the Euro shelled : pean Economic Community and in particular Article 28 thereof ; ex I. Other : Countries and Territories are subject during certain — Aubergines : periods of the year to the levy of Common Customs Tariff duties ; whereas it has been agreed to review from 1 March to 15 May the timetable for duty-free imports of several of these products ; whereas, pending this review, the — Pumpkins, marrows , gourds : customs duties on imports into the Community of from 1 April to 15 May products originating in these States, countries or territories should be suspended autonomously for 08.09 Other fruit, fresh : longer periods than those at present laid down ; — Melons and the like : HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : from 1 April to 31 May. Article 1 Until 31 May 1973 , the Common Tariff duties on Article 2 the products listed below originating in the Associ ated African and Malagasy States and the Overseas Countries and Territories shall be temporarily This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 March suspended. This suspension shall apply to : 1973 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
