REGULATION (EEC) No 1053/73 OF THE COUNCIL of 17 April 1973 amending the Annex to Regulation (EEC) No 235/73 laying down the general rules of the system of compensatory amounts for poultrymeat

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, Whereas it is also necessary to fix the compensatory amount for the presentation '63 °/o ducks' ; Having regard to the Treaty establishing the Euro­ pean Economic Community ; Whereas it is therefore necessary to amend the sche­ dule annexed to Council Regulation ( EEC) No 235/ Having regard to the Treaty (*) concerning the Acces­ 73 (4 ) of 31 January 1973 laying down the general sion of new Member States to the European Econo­ rules of the system of compensatory amounts for mic Community and the European Atomic Energy poultrymeat ; Community, and in particular Article 62 ( 1 ) of the Act attached thereto ; Having regard to the proposal from the Commission ; HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Whereas Council Regulation No 146/67/EEC (2 ) of 21 June 1967 laying down rules for calculating the Article 1 levy and sluice-gate price for poultrymeat was last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 988/73 (3 ), which In the Annex to Regulation (EEC) No 235/73 , the provides for the presentation ' 63 %> ducks' to be following shall be added after subheading 02.02 A II added : b ):

Article 2 In the Annex to Regulation (EEC ) No 235/73 , the description of the presentation '70 °/o ducks' appearing against subheading 02.02 A II b ) shall be amended as follows : '(b) Plucked and drawn, without heads and feet, but with hearts, livers and gizzards ( known as '70 °/o ducks')'.

Article 3 This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 May 1973 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
