REGULATION (EEC) No 1352/73 OF THE COUNCIL of 15 May 1973 fixing the guide prices for wine for the period from 16 December 1973 to 15 December 1974

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, December 1974 than for the preceding period, particularly in view of recent price trends ; whereas, Having regard to the Treaty establishing the moreover, the market situation calls for a European Economic Community, and in particular considerably greater increase for type R II wine; Article 43 thereof; Whereas the guide prices must be fixed for each type Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No of table wine representative of Community 816/70 (*) of 28 April 1970 laying down additional production , as defined in Regulation (EEC) No provisions for the common organization of the 945 /70 (3 ); market in wine, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 2680/72 (2), and in particular Article 2 thereof; HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Having regard to the proposal from the Commission ; Sole Article Having regard to the Opinion of the European Parliament ; For the period from 16 December 1973 to 15 December 1974, the guide prices shall be : Whereas, when the guide prices for the various types of table wine are fixed, account should be taken both 1 . 1-46 u.a. per degree/hi for type R I table wine ; of the objectives of the Common Agricultural Policy and of the contribution which the Community desires 2 . 1-38 u.a. per degree/hi for type R II table wine ; to make to the harmonious development of world trade ; whereas the objectives of the Common 3 . 22-80 u.a. per hi . for type R III table wine ; Agricultural Policy are in particular to ensure a fair standard of living for the agricultural community, to ensure that supplies are available and that they reach 4. 1-37 u.a . per degree/hi for type A I table wine ; consumers at reasonable prices ; 5 . 30-40 u.a . per hi for type A II table wine ; Whereas, to that end, higher prices should be fixed for the period from 16 December 1973 to 15 6 . 34-70 u.a. per hi for type A III table wine .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
