REGULATION (EEC) No 1357/73 OF THE COUNCIL of 15 May 1973 amending Regulation No 876/67/EEC introducing an additional subsidy for colza and rape seed processed in Italy

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, subsidy should be maintained for the 1973 /74 marketing year; Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community ; Whereas Article 3a of Regulation No 876/67/EEC provides for the setting up of a system of import Having regard to Council Regulation No licences for certain oils and fats in Italy for the 136/66/EEC ( x ) of 22 September 1966 on the 1968/69 marketing year; whereas the reasons for the establishment of a common organization of the retention of that system still hold ; whereas the system markets in oils and fats, as last amended by the should therefore be continued for the 1973 /74 Act (2) concerning the Conditions of Accession and marketing year; the Adjustments to the Treaties, and in particular Articles 3 (2) and 36 thereof; HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Having regard to the proposal from the Commission ; Article 1 Whereas Regulation No 876/67/EEC (3), as last amended by Regulation ( EEC) No 1336/72 ( 4), In Article 1 and Article 3a ( 1 ) of Regulation No provides for an additional subsidy for the 1972/73 876/67/EEC, the words 'in the course of the 1973 /74 marketing year in order to lessen certain difficulties marketing year' shall be substituted for 'in the course encountered in Italy in the oil seed crushing industry ; of the 1972/73 marketing year'.

Article 2 Whereas, pending completion of the examination of the problems raised by the movement of oil seeds within the enlarged Community, the additional This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 July 1973 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
