REGULATION EEC No 1372/73 OF THE COMMISSION of 23 May 1973 amending Regulation (EEC) No 572/73 as regards poultrymeat products eligible for the advance fixing of export refunds

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas the present market situation requires the COMMUNITIES, fixing of uniform export refunds for whole dead fowls and unboned halves and quarters of fowls ; Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community ; Whereas it is therefore necessary to abolish the excep­ tion which was made for the advance fixing of refunds Having regard to Council Regulation No on exports of the previously mentioned products to 123/67/EEC (J) of 13 June 1967 on the common Greece and Switzerland ; organization of the market in poultrymeat, as last amended by the Act of Accession (2), and in particular Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation Article 9 (3) thereof ; are in accordance with the Opinion of the Manage­ ment Committee for Poultrymeat and Eggs ; Whereas under Article 5 (3) of Council Regulation No 176/67/EEC (3) of 27 June 1967 laying down general rules for granting export refunds on poultrymeat and HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : the criteria for fixing the amount of such refunds, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 2689/72 (4), it Article 1 may be decided that refunds for poultrymeat products may, on application, be fixed in advance ; The annex to Regulation (EEC) No 572/73 shall be Whereas the annex to Commission Regulation (EEC) amended by deleting the words 'Except Exportations No 572/73 (5) of 26 February 1973, establishing egg to Greece or to Switzerland' which appear against and poultrymeat products eligible for the advance subheading 02.02 A I and 02.02 B II a) 1 . fixing of export refunds, listed the products concerned and excluded whole dead fowls and unboned halves Article 2 and quarters of fowls exported to Greece and Switzer­ land : This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 June 1973.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
