REGULATION ( EEC) No 1520/73 OF THE COMMISSION of 7 June 1973 re-establishing Common Customs Tariff duties on women's, girls' and infants' outer garments, not of cotton, falling within heading No ex 61.02, originating in developing countries to which the preferential tariff arrangements set out in Council Regulation (EEC) No 2764/72 of 19 December 1972 apply
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Community of the products in question, originating COMMUNITIES, in countries covered by preferential tariff arrange ments, reached that ceiling ; whereas, bearing in mind Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European the objectives of Regulation ( EEC) No 2764/72, which Economic Community ; provides that the ceiling should not be exceeded, Common Customs Tariff duties should be Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 2764/72 ( !) of 19 December 1972 establishing prefer re-established in respect of the products in question ; ential tariffs in respect of certain textile products origi nating in developing countires, and in particular HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Article 4 (2) thereof ;
Whereas Article 1 (3) of that Regulation provides that Article 1 the Common Customs Tariff duties may, for each cate gory of products, be suspended up to a Community As from 11 June 1973 , Common Customs Tariff ceiling equal to the sum arrived at by adding together duties, suspended in pursuance of Council Regulation the metric tonnage of the products in question, (EEC) No 2764/72 of 19 December 1972, shall be imported into the Community in 1968 and coming re-established in respect of the following products, from countries listed in Annex B to that Regulation, imported into the Community : but not including products coming from countries already covered by various preferential tariff arrange CCT ments established by the Community, and 5 % of the heading Description of goods No 1970 metric tonnage of such imports coming from other countries and from countries already covered by such arrangements ; whereas Article 2 ( 1 ) of that Regu ex 61.02 Women's, girls' and infants' outer gar ments : lation provides that Common Customs Tariff duties — Not of cotton may be re-established at any time once the Commu nity ceiling has been reached ; Article 2 Whereas, in respect of women's, girls' and infants' outer garments, not of cotton, the ceiling, calculated This Regulation shall enter into force on the third day as indicated above, should be 90 metric tons ; whereas following its publication in the Official Journal of on 10 May 1973 the amounts of imports into the the European Communities.
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
