REGULATION (EEC) No 1867/73 OF THE COMMISSION of 11 July 1973 modifying Regulation (EEC) No 1601 /72 and prolonging until 15 August 1973 the date for the delivery of alcohol obtained from the compulsory distillation of the by-products of the vinification

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation COMMUNITIES, are in accordance with the Opinion of the Manage­ ment Committee for Wines ; Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community ; Having regard to Regulation (EEC) No 816/70 (! ) of HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : 28 April 1970 laying down additional provisions for the common organization of the market in wine, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 2680/72 (2) and Article 1 in particular Article 24 (4) thereof ; Whereas to enable all producers to distill the As with effect on 30 June 1973 the words 30 June by-products of the vinification, which they are obliged 1973' appearing in Article 5 of Regulation (EEC) No to do in accordance with Article 24 of Regulation 1601 /72 are replaced by the words : ' 15 August 1973 .' (EEC) No 816/70 it is recommended to replace the date of 30 June 1973 appearing in Article 5 of Commission Regulation (EEC) No 1601 /72 of 26 July Article 2 1972, relating to the methods of applying the compul­ sory distillation of the by-products during the 1972/ This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its 1973 season and repealing Regulation (EEC) No publication in the Official Journal of the European 2496/71 (3), by that of 15 August 1973 ; Communities.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
