REGULATION ( ECSC, EEC, EURATOM ) No 2188/73 OF THE COUNCIL of 9 August 1973 adjusting the remuneration and pensions of officials of the European Communities and the remuneration of other servants of the Communities

2. ( a ) The amount of Bfrs 1 196 shall be substituted for the amount of Bfrs 1 127 in Article 67 ( 1 ) ( a ) of the Staff Regulations and in Article 1 ( 1 ) of Annex VII thereto ;
( b ) The amount of Bfrs 1 859 shall be substituted for the amount of Bfrs 1 752 in Article 67 ( 1 ) ( b ) of the Staff Regulations and in Article 2 ( 1 ) of the Annex thereto ;
( c ) The amount of Bfrs 3 320 shall be substituted for the amount of Bfrs 3 129 in Article 69 ( 2 ), second sentence, of the Staff Regulations and in Article 3 ( 3 ) and in Article 4 (1 ), last paragraph of Annex VII thereto ;
( d ) The amount of Bfrs 1 660 shall be substituted for the amount of Bfrs 1 565 in Article 3 ( 1 ) of Annex VII .
Article2¶
With effect from 1 July 1972 the conditions of employment of other servants of the Communities shall be amended as follows :
The following table shall be substituted for the table of basic monthly salaries in Article 63 :

Article 3 monthly salaries laid down in Article 66 of the Staff Regulations, as amended by Article 1 ( 1 ) of this 1 . With effect from 1 July 1972 the flat-rate allow Regulation . ance referred to in Article 4 ( a ) of Annex VII of the Staff Regulations shall be fixed at : Article 5 — Bfrs 865 per month for officials in Grade C 4 or C 5 , As from the entry into force of this Regulation — Bfrs 1 328 per month for officials in Grade C 1 , C 2 or C3 . Articles 1 to 4 of Regulation (Euratom , ECSC, EEC ) No 2647/ 72 shall cease to be effective . 2. The temporary flat-rate allowance referred to in Article 4 ( a ) of Annex VII of the Staff Regula tions shall be payable until 30 June 1974 . Article 6
Article 4 This Regulation shall enter into force on the day Pensions payable on 1 July 1972 shall be calculated following its publication in the Official Journal of from that date by reference to the table of basic the European Communities .
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
