REGULATION (EEC) No 2221 /73 OF THE COMMISSION of 14 August 1973 altering the refunds on molasses, syrups and certain other sugar products exported in the natural state

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN period, in relation to the Community currencies COMMUNITIES, referred to in the previous subparagraph ;

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Having regard to the Opinion of the Monetary Committee ;

Whereas the refunds on molasses, syrups and certain Article 1 other sugar products were fixed by Regulation ( EEC ) No 2089/73 ( 3 ) ; The basic amount of the refund on the products Whereas, if the refund system is to operate normally, listed in Article 1 ( 1 ) (c) and (d) of Regulation No refunds should be calculated on the following basis : 1009/67/EEC, exported in the natural state, is here­ by altered to the amounts shown in the Annex to — in the case of currencies which are maintained in this Regulation . relation to each other, at any given moment , within a band of 2-25 % , a rate of exchange based on their effective parity ; Article 2 — for other currencies an exchange rate based on the arithmetic mean of the spot market rates of This Regulation shall enter into force on 16 August each of these currencies recorded for a given 1973 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
