REGULATION (EEC) No 2658/73 OF THE COMMISSION of 28 September 1973 fixing the export refund on olive oil
THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas Article 3 of Regulation No 171 /67/EEC pro COMMUNITIES, vides that when the refund on olive oil is being fixed account must be taken of : Having regard to the Treaty establishing the Euro — the existing situation and the future trend with pean Economic Community ; regard to prices and availabilities of olive oil on the Community market and prices for olive oil Having regard to Council Regulation No 136/66/ on the world market; EEC (*) of 22 September 1966 on the establishment of a common organization of the market in oils and — the aims of the common organization of the mar fats, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1707/ ket in olive oil which are to ensure equilibrium 73 (2) ; and the natural development of prices and trade on this market ; Having regard to Council Regulation No 162/66/ — the need to avoid disturbances on the Commu EEC (8) of 27 October 1966 on trade in oils and fats nity market ; and between the Community and Greece ; — the economic aspect of the proposed exports ; Having regard to Council Regulation No 171/67/ EEC (4) of 27 June 1967 on export refunds and levies on olive oil, as last amended by Regulation Whereas, furthermore, Article 4 of Regulation No (EEC) No 2429/72 (5), and in particular the first sen 171/67/EEC provides that the said refund must be tence of Article 7 thereof ; fixed in accordance with the following criteria :

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
