REGULATION (EEC) No 2735 /73 OF THE COMMISSION of 8 October 1973 amending Regulation ( EEC) No 2196/71 as regards the period of validity of • import licences for cereals and certain processed products

Whereas Commission Regulation ( EEC) No Article 1 ( 1 ) of Regulation (EEC) No 2196/71 is 2196/71 (3), of 13 October 1971 on a derogation from replaced by the following : Regulation ( EEC) No 2637/70 as regards the period of ' 1 . By way of derogation from Article 20 of validity of import licences for cereals and rice, as last Regulation (EEC) No 2637/70, import licences for amended by Regulation ( EEC) No 538 /73 (4) limited the products listed in Article 1 (a) (b) and (c) of the period of validity of the import licence to 30 days Regulation No 120/67/EEC and in Article 1 ( 1 ) (a) for cereals , flour, wheat flour and semolina ; whereas and (b) of Regulation No 359/67/ EEC other than this limitation was imposed to prevent imported those listed in paragraph 2, which are applied for products from reaching the Community market at after the entry into force of this Regulation shall prices lower than the threshold price ; be valid for sixty days from their date of issue Whereas the situation on the world market is at within the meaning of Article 8 ( 1 ) of Regulation present marked by increases in the prices of cereals ( EEC) No 1373/70'. which , in some cases, are appreciably above the threshold price ; Article 2
