REGULATION (EEC) No 2858 /73 OF THE COMMISSION of 19 October 1973 amending Regulation (EEC) No 2102/73 fixing the monetary compensatory amounts

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation COMMUNITIES, are in accordance with the Opinion of the Manage­ ment Committee for Pigmeat ; Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community ;

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 974/71 (') of 12 May 1971 on certain measures of conjunctural policy to be taken in agriculture Article 1 following the temporary widening of the margins of fluctuation for the currencies of certain Member Columns 5 and 6 of part 2 of Annex I to Regulation States, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No ( EEC) No 2671 /73 are replaced by those in the Annex 1 225/73 (2), and in particular Article 3 thereof ; to this Regulation . Whereas the monetary compensatory amounts intro­ duced by Regulation (EEC) No 974/71 were fixed by Article 2 Commission Regulation ( EEC) No 2102/73 (3) of 31 July 1973, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No This Regulation shall enter into force on the day 2671 /73 (4), whereas a check has shown that by following its publication in the Official Journal of mistake columns 5 and 6 of' part 2 of Annex I were the European Communities. It shall apply, upon not published ; whereas the Regulation in question request from the party concerned, from 1 October should therefore be corrected ; 1973 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
