REGULATION ( EEC) No 2875 /73 OF THE COMMISSION of 22 October 1973 fixing the sluice-gate prices and the import duties for ovalbumin and lactal­ bumin

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN Whereas that sluice-gate price and that levy were fixed COMMUNITIES, by Commission Regulation (EEC) No 2874/73 (4) of 22 October 1973 fixing the sluice-gate prices and Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European levies for eggs ; Economic Community ; Whereas that Regulation altered the sluice-gate price Having regard to Council Regulation No 170/ and levy for eggs ; whereas the sluice-gate prices and 67/EEC (') of 27 June 1967 on the common system of duties on imports of ovalbumin and lactalbumin fixed trade in ovalbumin and lactalbumin and repealing by Regulation (EEC) No 2052/73 must therefore also Regulation No 48 /67/EEC, as amended by Regulation be altered ; (EEC) No 1081 /71 (2), in particular Article 2(2) and the second subparagraph of Article 5 (5) thereof ; Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the Opinion of the Manage­ Whereas the sluice-gate prices and the duties on ment Committee for Poultrymeat and Eggs, imports of the products listed in Article 1 of Regula­ tion No 170/67/EEC must be fixed quarterly in HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : advance using the methods of calculation specified in Commission Regulation (EEC) No 2052/73 (3) of 25 Article 1 July 1973 fixing the sluice-gate prices and import duties for ovalbumin and lactalbumin ; The duties on imports provided for in Article 2 of Regulation No 170/67/EEC and the sluice-gate prices Whereas since the sluice-gate prices and the duties on provided for in Article 5 of that Regulation for the imports of ovalbumin and lactalbumin were last fixed products listed in Article 1 of that Regulation shall be by Regulation ( EEC) No 2052/ 73 , for the period from as shown in the Annex . 1 August 1973 to 31 October 1973 , they must be fixed again , for the period from 1 November 1973 to 31 Article 2 January 1974 ; whereas they must be based on the sluice-gate price and the levy for eggs in shell opera­ This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 November tive for the same period ; 1973 .
