Having regard to Council Regulation ( EEC) No 235/73 (') of 31 January 1973 laying down general HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : rules for the system of compensatory amounts for poultrymeat, as last amended by Regulation ( EEC) No Article 1 2880 /73 (-'), and in particular Article 8 (3 ) thereof ; The amounts provided for in Article 3 of Regulation Whereas the compensatory amounts for poultrymeat (EEC) No 235/73 as compensatory amounts for poul­ products were fixed by Council Regulation ( EEC) No trymeat for the period 1 November 1973 to 31 235/73 and Commission Regulation ( EEC) No January 1974 are fixed in the Annex . 2054/ 73 (4 ) of 25 July 1973 ; whereas , however, the compensatory amounts are determined in accordance Article 2 with Article 3 of Regulation ( EEC) No 235/73 where the situation envisaged in Article 7 of Council Regula­ This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 November tion ( EEC) No 229/73 (5 ) of 31 January 1973 laying 1973 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .

N.B. : For products falling within heading No 02.03 and subheadings Nos 15.01 B and 16.02 B I of the Common Customs Tariff, in respect of which the rate of duty has been bound within GATT, the compensatory amounts shall be limited to the amount resulting from that binding.
