REGULATION ( EEC) No 2938 / 73 OF THE COMMISSION of 29 October 1973 altering the refunds on white sugar and raw sugar exported in the natural state

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN of these currencies recorded for a given period, in COMMUNITIES, relation to the Community currencies referred to in the previous subparagraph ; Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community ; Whereas it follows from applying the rules, criteria and other provisions contained in Regulation ( EEC) Having regard to Council Regulation No 1009/ No 2887/73 to the information at present available to 67/ EEC (') of 18 December 1967 on the common the Commission that the export refunds at present in organization of the market in sugar, as last amended force should be altered as shown in the Annex to this by Regulation ( EEC) No 1 928 /73 (2), and in particular Regulation , the second sentence of the sixith subparagraph of Article 1 7 ( 2) thereof ;

Having regard to the Opinion of the Monetary HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Committee ;

Whereas the refunds on white sugar and raw sugar Article 1 exported in the natural state were fixed by Regulation ( EEC) No 2887/73 (3 ) ; The refunds on the products listed in Article 1 ( l)(a) of Regulation No 1009/67/ EEC, undenatured and Whereas, if the refund system is to operate normally, exported in the natural state, as fixed in the Annex to refunds should be calculated on the following basis : Regulation ( EEC) No 2887/73, are hereby altered as — in the case of currencies which are maintained in shown in the Annex to this Regulation . relation to each other, at any given moment, within a band of 2·25 % , a rate of exchange based Article 2 on their effective parity ; — for other currencies an exchange rate based on the This Regulation shall enter into force on 30 October arithmetic mean of the spot market rates of each 1973 .
