REGULATION ( EEC) No 2991 / 73 OF THE COMMISSION of 31 October 1973 on detailed rules for the application of Article 4b of Regulation (EEC) No 974/71 to pigmeat

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN the market in pigmeat, as last amended by Regulation COMMUNITIES, (EEC) No 1 652/73 (4), should be increased in Italy, for the period from 1 November 1973 . to 31 October Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European 1974, by the corrective amount specified above ; Economic Community ; Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No are in accordance with the Opinion of the Manage­ 974/71 (') of 12 May 1971 on certain measures of ment Committee for Pigmeat, conjunctural policy to be taken in agriculture following the temporary widening of the margins of fluctuation for the currencies of certain Member HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : States, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 1 225/73 (2), and in particular Article 6 thereof ; Article 1

Whereas pursuant to Article 4b ( 1 ) of Regulation For the period from 1 November 1973 to 31 October (EEC) No 974/71 , the intervention or buying-in prices 1974 the buyirig-in price for pig carcases of the for the 1 973/74 marketing year products referred to in quality type referred in Article 5 first paragraph Article 1 (2) of that Regulation have been increased in second subparagraph of Regulation No 121 /67/ EEC Italy by a corrective amount of 1 % ; whereas, as are increased in Italy by 1 % . regards pigmeat it should be provided that the buying-in price for pig carcases for the quality type Article 2 fixed in virtue of Article 5 first paragraph second subparagraph of Council Regulation No 121 /67/EEC This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 November of 13 June 1 967 (3 ) on the common organization of 1 973 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
