REGULATION (EEC) No 3284/73 OF THE COMMISSION of 5 December 1973 altering the amount of the subsidy on colza and rape seed

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN — for other currencies an exchange rate based on the COMMUNITIES, arithmetic mean of the spot market rates of each of these currencies recorded for a given period, in Having regard to the Treaty establishing the Euro­ relation to the Community currencies referred to pean Economic Community • in the previous subparagraph ; Whereas it follows from applying the rules and Having regard to Council Regulation No 136/ other provisions contained in Regulation (EEC) No 66/EEC (*) of 22 September 1966 on the estab­ 1898/73 (4 ) to the information at present available lishment of a common organization of the market to the Commission that the amount of the subsidy in oils and fats, as last amended by Regulation ( EEC ) at present in force for colza and rape seed should be No 1707/73 (2), and in particular Article 27 ( 4) altered as shown in the Annex to this Regulation ; thereof ;

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Having regard to the Opinion of the Monetary Committee ; Article 1 Whereas the amount of the subsidy referred to in Article 27 of Regulation No 136/66/EEC was fixed The amount of the subsidy referred to in Article by Regulation (EEC ) No 3250/73 ( 3) ; 27 of Regulation No 136/66/EEC, as fixed in the Table annexed to Regulation (EEC ) No 3250/73 , is hereby Whereas, if the subsidy system is to operate normally, altered, in respect of colza and rape seed, as shown subsidies should be calculated on the following basis : in the Annex to this Regulation .

— in the case of currencies which are maintained in Article 2 relation to each other , at any given moment, within a band of 2*25 %>, a rate of exchange based This Regulation shall enter into force on 6 December on their effective parity ; 1973 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
