REGULATION (EEC) No 3422/73 OF THE COMMISSION of 18 December 1973 completing Regulation (EEC) No 1821 /73 on the method of calculation of the premium for the conversion of dairy herds to meat production

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN development premium for the specialized raising of COMMUNITIES, cattle for meat production, amended by Regulation (EEC) No 2522/73 (5) ; Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community ; Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the Opinion of the Manage­ Having regard to Council Regulation ( EEC) No ment Committee for Beef and Veal, 805/68 (•) of 27 June 1968 on the common organiza­ tion of the market in beef and veal , as last amended HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : by Regulation (EEC) No 187/73 (2) ;

The premium shall be paid in three instalments .' benefiting from a part of the premium referred to in Article 4 of Regulation (EEC) No 1353/73, this part being calculated proportionally ; provision should be Article 2 made to complete Commission Regulation ( EEC) No 1821 /73 (4) of 5 July 1973 laying down detailed rules This Regulation shall enter into force on the day for the application of the premium system for the following its publication in the Official Journal of conversion of dairy herds to meat production and of the European Communities.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
