REGULATION ( EEC) No 3582/73 OF THE COUNCIL
of 28 December 1973 laying down general rules for the supply of skimmed-milk powder as food aid to the countries of the Sahel and Ethiopia
THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION :
Article 1 Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community ; 14 000 metric tons of skimmed-milk powder shall be put at the disposal of the countries listed below and Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 804/ allocated as follows : 68 (') of 27 June 1968 on the common organization Upper Volta 2 600 metric tons of the market in milk and milk products, as last Mali 2 900 metric tons amended by the Act (2 ) concerning the conditions of Mauritania 2 000 metric tons Accession and the adjustments to the Treaties, Niger 3 200 metric tons and in particular Article 6 (6) thereof; Chad 800 metric tons Ethiopia 2 500 metric tons Having regard to the proposal from the Commission ; Article 2 To meet the objectives mentioned in Article 1 , the Whereas the countries of the Sahel and Ethiopia labelling, the transport of the skimmed-milk powder have made known their requirements as regards to distribution points and, where applicable, the skimmed-milk powder ; supply of the vitamins to be added to the milk shall be financed by the Community.
